Application of translinguism in teaching foreign languages to students (specialty “Ecology”)

چکیده

This article explores the concept of translinguism and its application in educational environment. The authors have developed a learning model that includes flipped classroom, face-to-face classes, team work project-based learning. study involved 3rd year students (N=26) Peter Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), studying field “Ecology”. During one semester (February 2020 - June 2020), studied discipline “Spanish” English according to proposed methodology. examined impact on Spanish language development translational competence. For analysis descriptive statistics pairsamples Students’s t-test were conducted. Interviews also conducted with analyze their perception new model. Generally, overall quality students’ knowledge improved. According results, translingual competence significantly. Thus, it can be assumed positively influenced level such results interview showed evaluate teaching model, consider effective for developing translingualism.
